Our Promise
We want you to be satisfied with CleanSimple. If the Service does not meet your expectations, we offer fair and transparent refund terms.
Free Tier
No refund needed. Our Free tier is completely free with no credit card required. Try all core features before committing to a paid plan.
Paid Subscriptions
Monthly Plans
Within 14 days of first purchase
Full refund, no questions asked. Email support@cleansimple.app.
After 14 days
No refund for the current billing period. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current period. Cancel anytime to prevent future charges.
Annual Plans
Within 30 days of purchase
Full refund, no questions asked.
After 30 days, within 6 months
Prorated refund for unused full months. A $25 processing fee applies.
After 6 months
No refund. Your subscription remains active until the end of the annual period.
How to Request a Refund
- Email: Send a request to support@cleansimple.app with your account email and reason
- In-app: Go to Settings → Billing → Request Refund
- Response time: We respond within 2 business days
- Processing time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method
Exceptions — Non-Refundable
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Stripe payment processing fees (charged by Stripe, not by us)
- Add-on features or one-time purchases already consumed
- Refund requests made after the applicable refund window
Service Credits
Instead of a refund, we may offer service credits for:
- Extended downtime exceeding our 99.5% uptime SLA
- Bugs that significantly impair your use of the Service
- Billing errors on our part
Credits are applied to your next billing cycle and are non-transferable.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation stops future charges. Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refund returns money for the current period (if within the refund window).
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. No phone call or retention tricks.
Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at billing@cleansimple.app. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in account suspension.
